The Hypertherm Powermax85 SYNC is a 3-phase (380–400V) handheld plasma cutter for production cutting and gouging up to 25mm and severance up to 38mm. It ships with a 7.6m SmartSYNC torch, a 7.6m earth return lead and three drag-cut cartridges (one 65A, two 85A). RFID-enabled torches and single-piece cartridges set the process automatically and track consumable use. It suits fabrication shops and site crews cutting plate beyond 20mm.
